RESIDENCE DUFORD LTEE is seeking Home Support Workers to provide compassionate care and assistance to clients in Vanier, Ontario.

• Position: Home Support Worker
• Location: Vanier, ON (K1L 6Z5)
• Work type: On-site (no remote work)
• Employment type: Permanent, full-time
• Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, flexible schedule
• Salary: $22.00 per hour
• Vacancies: 2
• Start date: As soon as possible

Requirements

• Language: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside and personal care, including bathing and hygiene assistance
• Feed or assist in feeding clients
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and clothing repair
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Provide companionship and support
• Shop for food and household supplies

Work Environment

• Non-smoking environment
• Physically demanding: bending, crouching, kneeling, repetitive tasks, lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
