Gyubee Japanese Grill Ottawa is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to join their team in Ottawa.

Job Details

• Location: Ottawa, ON (K1N 5T2)
• Work type: On-site only
• Employment type: Permanent
• Schedule: Full-time – 30 to 40 hours per week (Day, Evening, Weekend)
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Positions available: 1
• Salary: $36.50 per hour
• Language: English

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in restaurant or food service supervision

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and coordinate staff preparing and portioning food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customer complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare food order summaries for the chef
• Supervise assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules
• Use MS Office for reporting and documentation
