The TRU Assurance Bursary provides financial support to domestic students enrolled in campus-based bachelor’s degree programs at Thompson Rivers University. The bursary can offer up to $20,000, distributed flexibly according to the student’s pace of study over four to six years. It is designed to cover remaining tuition and living expenses after government financial aid and other need-based support.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be primarily admitted to a campus-based bachelor’s degree program and enrol in courses at the Kamloops or Williams Lake campus. Courses taken via Open Learning may count if started and completed within the fall or winter semester and are required for the campus degree program.
- Preference is given to students in the following programs: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Communication & Digital Journalism, Bachelor of Computing Science, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Tourism Management.
- Secondary preference is given to students from BC’s Thompson Rivers College Region (School Districts 27, 58, 73, and 74).
